Chip and Joanna Gaines are the husband and wife duo renovating homes in Waco, Texas. The duo truly knows how to turn the most dilapidated of houses into beautiful dream homes, so it’s no wonder their show has been running since 2013.

The Fixer Upper stars are clearly no strangers to hard work as their show now has multiple spin-off series and they also run many other businesses outside of the Fixer Upper show. What is the tape measure flask on Fixer Upper?

During episodes of Fixer Upper, Chip Gaines can be seen taking a sip from a tape measure drinking flask.

In a sneak peek of Fixer Upper: Welcome Home, Chip and Jo renovate a home that was in a seriously bad way, maggots, rotten eggs and the former owner’s belonging were strewn all over the property.

Chip chucked back his tape measure flask and said: “If there was ever a day that you needed to take a swig of grandpa’s cough syrup, it’s today.”

Chip said a flask would be “coming soon”

Throwing it all the way back to 2016, Chip took to Twitter to say that a tape measure flask would be “coming soon“.

He tweeted: “Tape measure flask coming soon to chips corner“.

One fan replied to Chip’s tweet and said that he’d given construction workers a “dangerous idea“.
